Since its inception in 1998, the Golf Classic has become the single most important fundraising event for the Annual Support Fund, which allows the YMCA to make its facilities and programs available to individuals who would not otherwise be able to afford them.
Each year, 100% of tournament proceeds are used to make summer camp experiences possible for area children whose families are unable to afford the cost. Last year’s event generated more than $90,000 for the YMCA's Strong Kids Campaign, enough money to provide financial assistance for 10 weeks of summer camp to 17 children and teens, one full year of child care to 12 young children, and after-school care to 18 students in need.

The 13th Annual Charity Golf Classic was held on Monday, June 14, 2010 at Spring Brook Country Club in Morristown, NJ. A live auction featuring 10 great items was held as part of the Madison Area YMCA’s Annual Charity Golf Classic.
