      Brain Skills Training to Enhance Your Quality of Life (Ages 16+yrs) The brain controls every aspect of your life and YOU can control your brain by developing new mental habits. With the discovery of neurogenesis, a quality of the brain that changes in response to training, you can develop qualities that change the physical structure of the brain to promote well -being and healthy habits of mind. The workshop will include tools to modify the stress response and to direct the brain to act in directions that result in your ability to move more effectively through life's changes and challenges.
    • Flex and Press with Sam
      Flex and Press with Sam (16+yrs.) Looking to get a full body workout using a full range of equipment? Discover new exercises to challenge yourself using body weight, BOSU, resistance bands, free weights, and stability balls. This class includes Interval training which focuses on strength, endurance, balance and flexibility. This total body workout will keep you coming back for more!
    • Livestrong at the YMCA Graduate Classes
      On the Ball (Livestrong at the YMCA graduates only, Ages 16+yrs.) A total body workout using the stability ball, weights, tubing and balance equipment. Paying close attention to proper form. This class will offer personalized attention in a group setting. Livestrong for Life (Livestrong at the YMCA graduates only, Ages 16+yrs.) A total body workout paying close attention to proper form. This class will offer personalized attention in a group setting.
    • Mve Fitness Level 1 Workout
      Mve Fitness Level 1 Workout (Ages 16+yrs.) This 45-minute workout integrates multiple aspects of fitness. It enables you to focus on developing strength in the deep muscles while increasing flexibility. Rhythmic movements set to various tempos will uncover muscle imbalances. The entry level to this course. Learn the basics of the chair and master the body positions used throughout the Mve program.

      Pilates Reformer (Ages 16+) Transform the way your body looks, feels and performs using this safe system of mind-body exercises developed from the principles of Joseph Pilates. Designed to achieve maximum results in minimum time, the efficient moves of Pilates Reformers works all muscle groups and helps achieve a longer, leaner sculpted body.

      TRX Training (16+ yrs.) TRX Training is a revolutionary method of leveraged body weight exercise. Safely perform hundreds of exercises that build power, strength, flexibility, balance, mobility, and prevent injuries, all at the intensity you choose! Straps and Steel (16+ yrs.) Improve your functional movement, increase your core strength, and maximize your metabolic after burn! In this workout, you will combine resistance training and multi-planar movement of two of the most effective pieces of equipment in the gym in a small group setting. Get ready for a workout that delivers results!
    • Lose That Mommy Guilt
      Lose That Mommy Guilt (Ages 18+yrs.) This is a class for moms who find themselves overwhelmed & experience guilt that comes from the demands of parenting. In this session we will discuss the fallacy of 'perfect' & explore the differences between expectations and reality. We will review self-care practices based in cognitive therapy, mindfulness based stress reduction & positive psychology to help moms lose the guilt & feel more confident today.
    • Women's Health Classes
      Newborn Care with Marianne Cullen, BSN. CCE Lactation Specialist. This class will go over feeding, burping, temp taking, diapering, swaddling, cord care, awake/ sleep cycles, sterilizing, sponge bath and tipical appearances (normal/ adnormals of infancy). Breastfeeding Basics with Marianne Cullen, RN. This class will discuse feeding patterns, nipple issues and how to resolve engorgement. It will also go over supple and demand, positiioning for you and your baby and pumping. Newborn Care/ Breastfeeding Basics Combo: This is a two week class that covers both Newborn Care and Breastfeeding Basics. The first week you and your partner will learn about Newborn Care with Marianne Cullen, RN. The second class it will cover breastfeeding basics.
