Recycle with the Madison Area YMCA!
(Madison, NJ) July 10, 2015-The Madison Area YMCA is working to keep the planet green with the help of recycling and upcycling company, TerraCycle®.
TerraCycle offers national programs called Brigades® that offer free shipping as well as a donation for each piece of garbage collected.
The community is invited to join the Y’s chosen Brigades®.
The Y’s indoor playground, Kids Central, has joined three of TerraCycle’s Brigades: GoGo squeeZ Brigade® (collecting any brand of healthy snack plastic pouches and caps); Energy Bar Wrapper Brigade® (collecting C CLIF® Bar packaging and any brand of foil-lined energy bar packaging); Drink Pouch Brigade® (collecting any juice pouch brand that is aluminum or plastic with straws/spouts).
The Y’s Family Center has joined two of TerraCycle’s Brigades: PUR Brigade® (collecting PUR® pitchers, filters, faucet mounts, adapters, packaging film and dispensers) and Brita® Brigade® (collecting Brita® dispensers/bottles/pitchers/ filters/filter packaging).
Bring recyclables to the Family Center and drop them off in designated boxes in the Family Center lobby and outside of Kids Central on the lower level of the Family Center, located at 111 Kings Road.
