TOGETHERHOOD® PROJECT: BOOKS FOR CHILDREN 6-14
Volunteer with the Madison Area YMCA’s TOGETHERHOOD® Committee to sort through donated children’s books and make bookmarks to send to Sister Pat’s Kids Camp, a nonprofit organization that provides a week-long camping program for children afflicted with cancer and other blood related disorders. The camp is open to children ages 6 through 14, of all backgrounds and religious affiliations, and is completely free to all campers. Any books we are unable to supply to the camp will be donated to other local nonprofit organizations. This is a great volunteer project for the whole family; no special skills are required.
