Advisory Committee

The Colony Pool Advisory Committee membership, duties, and responsibilities include:

  1. Duties and Responsibilities. The duties and responsibilities of the Colony Pool Club (“CPC”) Advisory Committee(“The Committee”) shall be to advise and assist the Town Administrator and the CPC Manager regarding the recreational and social activities associated with CPC.
  2. Membership. The Committee shall have five (5) members, appointed by the Mayor, with advice and consent of the Township Committee. All members shall be paying members of the Colony Pool Club. There may be a maximum of two(2) non-resident members appointed to the Committee. The members shall be appointed for a term of one year.
  3. Meetings. The Committee shall meet at a minimum of quarterly or as deemed needed by the Chair, for consideration of matters affecting programs, social matters, and to identify, develop, review, and make recommendations through the appointed Township Committee liaison to CPC for the enhancement and promotion of the Colony Pool Club. The Committee’s power shall be solely advisory.
  4. Organization. At its reorganization meeting in the first quarter of each year, the members of the Committee shall select a Chairman and a Secretary from the membership of the Committee. The Chair shall be a Township resident.
