COVID-19 Updates and Resources

All Madison Area YMCA facilities are closed to protect the communities we serve.

While we know how important the Y is to you and all the communities we serve, as we've said since the coronavirus first emerged in New Jersey, your health and well-being is our highest priority.

We will do everything we can to reopen our centers as soon as possible. We will also be sending you information on how to stay healthy while our centers are closed - including virtual workouts, fitness tips and more for you and your families.

Together, we will come out of this stronger. And when we emerge from this challenging moment, we look forward to welcoming you and your families back through our doors.

Dear Members, Participants, Families, Friends and Supporters,

In these challenging times, it is inspirational to see people finding ways to help each other.  Our communities are also showing resiliency, determination and love. Our doors may be closed temporarily, but we are here for our community. The Y is active and operating--we may be operating differently, but we are still connecting with you.

We are excited about what we are able to provide our community, virtually.

ACTION ALERT

The COVID-19 pandemic has presented unimaginable challenges for kids and families across our country. School closures are felt profoundly by children and families who depend on school-based meals.
Ys across the country are working with anti-hunger partners to fill the nutrition gap, as schools remain closed. These USDA flexibilities, making it safer to distribute meals to families, are scheduled to end on June 30 – but we know the need will continue beyond this date.

Act today and ask your members of Congress to urge USDA to quickly extend all of the nationwide waivers until September 30, 2020!
