Fitness Center Policies

To ensure that your time in our fitness center is enjoyable, we ask that you please adhere to the following rules:

  • Please take advantage of the free orientations to our Fitness Center so that you learn how to properly use the equipment.
  • Members must be 12 yrs old to use the Fitness Center and 14 yrs old to use the free weight area. Children under the age of 14 may use the free weight area if they are under the direct supervision of a certified personal trainer or parent. We do reserve the right to ask the child to leave the free weight area if they are not under direct supervisionof either a certified personal trainer or a parent.
  • Children under the age of 14 not supervised by a personal trainer or parent may use the cardio machines and select weight machines. Please ask fitness staff to identify the machines they are permitted to use without parent or trainer supervision.
  • Cell phones are prohibited in the Fitness Center.
  • Proper attire required; footwear must be an enclosed shoe with rubber soles.
  • Please respect the 30-minute rule when using machines if/when people are waiting for machines.
  • Please wipe-down equipment after your workout, including the floor if needed.
  • No bags or coats are allowed in the Fitness Center - please use cubbies or lockers.
  • No food or drink is permitted in the Fitness Center, with the exception of water or a sports drink in a plastic bottle.
  • No resting on machines, please allow other members to work into the rotation.
  • Weights must be re-racked and equipment must be returned to the correct place.
