Fitness Center

Get back to your fitness routine with our socially-distanced indoor cardio fitness deck with all of our cardio equipment spaced six feet apart. Members will have access to our free weights, strength training machines, and more at the Madison Area YMCA's Family Center!

Private Fitness and Cardio Studios

Our Private Fitness and Cardio Studios are open to members via no-fee reservations made online 48 hours in advance. The Private Fitness Studio reservation is for use of our Kroll Training Annex located directly off of the main lobby of the Family Center. The Private Cardio Studio reservation is for use of the former cycling studio located on the top floor of the Family Center. Unlike in the general Fitness Center where masks are required at all times, in these two private area, masks are not required while exercising. The Private Fitness Studio and Private Cardio Studio is for use by a single member OR a family that lives within the same household.

Semi-Private Studio Training

Semi-private studio training offers clients the enthusiasm and encouragement from a group environment while still getting personalized attention and fitness routines tailored to your specific needs. Programs include TRX Suspension Training, a revolutionary method of leveraged body weight exercise, Pilates Reformer, Flex and Press, Build and Burn and more!

Outdoor Group Exercise Classes

We are excited to offer our Member-Only Outdoor Group Exercise classes in accordance with Governor Murphy's executive order allowing outdoor fitness classes of up to 35 people. We feature one of the strongest and most complete group exercise programs in the area. Whether you prefer Outdoor Cycle, yoga, aqua zumba, Les Mills™ BODYCOMBAT™, we offer approximately 35 fitness classes per week designed for the beginner to the advanced.

Virtual Group Exercise Classes

We are excited to offer live Group Exercise classes virtually. Check out our Livestreaming Group Exercise weekly schedule, including Barre, Yoga and more. Join some of your favorite instructors, with links to participate via Zoom. These are free for members and non-members. No equipment needed, just your computer, tablet or cell phone to livestream with us. We can't wait to "see" you!
