Kids Central

Kids Central is an indoor modular playground. For preschool and school-age children, Kids Central features include a cargo bridge, trolley glide, gym ring challenge and monkey bars. A dedicated toddler area includes stand-alone elements such as wall-mounted games and stationary sit-on cars/animal.
 

OPEN PLAY

Have a Family Membership? As a part of your Family (with children) Membership, join us for Open Play in Kids Central and enjoy our indoor play space! Registration is required here prior to participating in Open Play. If you cannot arrive during your reserved time slot, please cancel your reservation to ensure other families the opportunity to participate. Parents must remain in Kids Central while their children are present, for Open Play. At this time we cannot accommodate guests. Please contact Iris Oladapo with any questions. Registration is available on our website and mobile app 48 hours prior to each 1-hour block.

Monday - Friday 9 AM - 6 PM
Saturday 9 AM - 5 PM
Sunday 9 AM - 3 PM

BABYSITTING

Babysitting will be available for families with our new Family - Children Plus and Single-Family Children Plus memberships Tuesday through Saturday 9 AM to 3 PM.  Reservations are required and may be made on the App, website or by calling the Welcome Center at 973-822-9622.  If you currently do not have a Plus membership, please contact the Welcome Center to upgrade.

If you cannot arrive during your reserved time slot, please cancel your reservation to ensure other families the opportunity to participate. 

  • Each child must be individually registered. Registering more than one child? Give us a call to sign up!
  • All children must be at least 2 years old, and toilet trained.
  • Members may only register for one hour a day at this time.
  • Parents must remain in the facility during their babysitting timeslot.

Loking for a fun and safe space for your child(ren) while working out in the Fitness Center or taking a Group Exercise class? Join us for babysitting in Kids Central with our caring Y staff.
 
With safety procedures provided by the CDC, YMCA of the USA and our local Department of Health in place, babysitting is available for active Madison Area YMCA members by registration only beginning Monday, October 26, while you remain in the facility.
 
Limited 1-hour time slots for children ages 2 through 11 years old are available Monday through Friday 8AM - Noon. Registration is available two days in advance through 5PM the evening before. With fun and safe activities for kids, register for a one-hour time slot and know your child is safely cared for while you enjoy your workout!
