SUMMER CAMP 2020. Create - Grow - Explore!

Governor Murphy announced that Summer Day Camps will be able to operate, beginning July 6. With this announcement, our new camp start date will be Monday, July 6! We are so excited to have a confirmed start date. So many families have expressed to us how important it is for their children to have a SAFE outdoor camp experience after this period of social isolation. We are now able to implement the plans we have in place to be able to provide a fun and magical experience for our campers and give them the summer they deserve!

We know that after spending so much time at home and missing the social interaction from school, kids are going to need camp this summer more than ever. The safety of all our campers and guests is our first priority, and we will follow guidelines from health authorities, the state and local governments, CDC, and American Camp Association as we determine the best format in which we can provide a safe and healthy camp experience.

Registration for our summer camps remains open, and we have updated our refund policy to provide flexibility as families make decisions for the summer. Our non-refundable deposit policy has been modified to allow for a YMCA Camp 2021 credit and YMCA Programming Credit. If you have paid for camp in full, you will receive a refund for balances paid after the deposit. If you or your partner have lost your job as a result of the pandemic, we will offer a full refund for all camp fees paid to date. If camp is cancelled, the YMCA will provide a full refund of all fees paid, including your deposit.

Camp payments will still draft as scheduled, however, if your situation has changed and you would like to modify your payment schedule, please email our Association Camp Director Liz Kryznefski at

We will continue to keep you informed of any modifications we are planning to our summer camps.

A description of our MiniQuest (NEW!), KidsQuest, SummerQuest and Leader In Training camps, including updates related to American Camping Association, CDC, YMCA of the USA and Department of Health guidance, are below. From preschool through 11th grade, campers will have a great experience building character and independence through a variety of age-appropriate activities led by thoughtful, caring staff.

Create, grow and explore this summer.
