The Madison Area YMCA to Host a Free Event for Women: Be Well. Be Beautiful.

(Madison, NJ) – September 18, 2015 – Women who are members of the Madison Area YMCA are invited to Be Well. Be Beautiful. This free event will be held on Wednesday, September 30, from 10:00 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Family Center, located at 111 Kings Road in Madison. Members are welcome to bring a friend to the event and to experience the Y for the day.

Be Well. Be Beautiful. will bring women in our community together to focus on health, wellness and beauty of the mind, body and spirit. Members will have the opportunity to bring a friend to the Y's Family Center for a free day to enjoy the facility while taking part in informative wellness and beauty discussions and to socialize. The first 75 women to attend the event will receive a complimentary gift bag.

Our Staff Nutritionist Natalie Merizio will answer questions and share healthy recipes. Our Associate Health & Fitness Director Jennifer Casanova will discuss fitness and conduct fitness assessments. Members will have the opportunity to speak with a personal trainer to get work out tips and advice.

Event participants will also have a chance to win exciting raffles and prizes provided by Beyond Bijoux, Bliss, Cleaners Advantage, DJ Crater, KP Designs, Lauren Martin Designs, Madison Car Wash, Madison Chamber of Commerce basket, PC Problems Computer Center, Slamwich Scratch Kitchen, the Verizon Wireless store in Madison and the Madison Area YMCA. Light refreshments, courtesy of Chef Loryn’s, will be served.

Participating local vendors include: Arbonne, Beneath the Surface Spa, ETCETERA, Lashz Studio, Madison Pharmacy, Mary Kay, Modern Athlete, Parenting Matters (Certified PEP Trainer & Parent Educator), Professional Physical Therapy & Training, LLC, The Color Bar Salon and The Toy Tamer.

The Madison Area YMCA is a cause-driven charitable organization dedicated to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. The Y offers a range of youth sports, swimming, gymnastics, performing arts, youth leadership programs, enrichment classes and summer day camp. Enriching community wellness and health-enhancing programs are available to all in the community.

The Y provides financial assistance to anyone who resides or works in Madison, Chatham and Florham Park that might not be able to afford Y membership. Support is provided based on demonstrated need, with the goal that no one be turned away from membership regardless of income or background.
