The Madison Area YMCA is proud to offer a complete gymnastics program. All classes are held in the gymnastics center, a dedicated space which includes a spring floor, Tumble Trak, pits, vault, bars, beams, and much more!
The staff at the YMCA follows the USAG/Xcel Gymnastics guidelines for teaching all levels of gymnasts, with safety and fun as our priority. All Instructors coach children on all events, incorporating body awareness and control, flexibility, strengthening, conditioning, and safety knowledge into all lessons.
EXCITING NEWS THIS FALL! The Gymnastics Program Has Been Fully Revamped!
Starting with the Fall 2025 session, Novice and Intermediate levels will be combined at the time of enrollment. During the first two weeks of class, coaches will evaluate all gymnasts to ensure each child is placed in the level that best supports their individual progress. Final placements will be shared before Late Fall registration, allowing families to plan confidently for the next session.
