Holiday Hooplah at the Madison Area YMCA: Saturday, December 16 

(Madison, NJ) December 12, 2017– Families are invited to the Madison Area YMCA’s first Holiday Hooplah on Saturday, December 16 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Family Center. This event is free and open to the community.  

 

The holiday event will include festive holiday crafts, games, sweet holiday snacks and hot cocoa. Aaron the Elf will have games in the gymnasium and the “Gymnastics Elves” will have activities for little ones in the Gymnastics Center. Santa Claus, accompanied by Mrs. Claus, will be on hand to hear Christmas lists! Kids Central will host open play.

 

A family S.T.E.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) building challenge will take place from 3:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. to see whose family can build the most creative structure out of the interesting and unusual tools that are provided. The children will vote on their favorite entry and the winning family will take home an extra special prize!

 

Adults over the age of 18 MUST provide a STATE/government-issued photo ID to enter the facility.

 

The Madison Area YMCA is a 501(c)(3) cause-driven charitable organization dedicated to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. All are welcome to be enriched by Y membership, programming, community wellness and health-enhancing programs, regardless of ability to pay.
