Madison Rotary Club President Elizabeth “Liz” Parker; Madison Rotary Club Treasurer David Farrell; Madison Area YMCA Senior Director of Organization Advancement Amie Herman; Madison Area YMCA President & CEO Diane Mann; Barry Kroll, Madison Rotary Club past president and district governor; and Madison Area YMCA Associate Development Director Leigh Anne Soroka.

“We are deeply grateful for our Rotary-YMCA partnership,” said Madison Area YMCA President & CEO Diane Mann. “Through this wonderful gift, countless children, teens and adults of all ages in our community will be recipients of transformative and life-changing programs and services at the Y for decades to come.”

Rotary President Liz Parker indicated that the Y’s “Groundbreaking Matching Gift Challenge” inspired the Rotary Club to make this generous gift. During the summer, an anonymous friend of the Y committed to match dollar for dollar, up to $250,000, every qualifying gift contributed to the expansion project from now through the November 11.

As a cause-driven charitable organization, the Y is dedicated to nurturing the potential of every child and teen, improving our community’s health and well-being and giving back by providing support to our neighbors.
