(Madison, NJ) October 6, 2020 - At the Madison Area YMCA, we are excited to offer Girl Scout Fun Patch opportunities that support youth and teen health, wellness and development!

Following health and safety guidelines from the CDC, state of NJ and Madison Department of Health, we are offering our youth and teens a variety of one hour long Fun Patch workshops. Offerings include outdoor, virtual and studio options including ARTS & CRAFTS (kindergarten – grade 8), DANCE FITNESS (kindergarten – grade 10), DANCE FUN (kindergarten – grade 10), GYMNASTICS FUN (grade 2 – grade 5), Y NINJA GYM CHALLENGE (grade 2 – grade 5), STEM FUN (grade 2 – grade 8), VIRTUAL BAKING FUN (grade 2 – grade 8), VIRTUAL COOKING FUN (grade 2 – grade 8) and YOGA FUN (kindergarten – grade 10).

“We know that finding fun, flexible and safe troop activities that adhere to current health guidelines can be a challenge,” said Madison Area YMCA Youth and Teen Director Liz Kryznefski. “At the Y, we have developed and introduced several youth and adult programs that are in compliance with these safety standards. We look forward to sharing our expertise with your Girl Scouts as they have a fun-filled hour of workshops and activities to earn their fun patch!”

Our Girl Scout Fun Patch workshops are capped at 10 – 40 scouts, dependent upon the offering. Pricing ranges from $12 - $15 per scout and includes a Fun Patch. Please contact Youth and Teen Director Liz Kryznefski at ekryznefski@madisonymca.org for more information.
