YMCA Teen Leaders Club and Tutoring for Teens
In-Person and Virtually at the Madison Area YMCA

(Madison, NJ) October 30, 2020 - Calling all Madison teens and Madison Area YMCA teen members… Join us for Teen Leaders Club or for Tutoring sessions for teens at the Madison Area YMCA beginning this November!  

The YMCA Teen Leaders Club, open to grades 6-12 at no fee, is part of a national teen initiative to promote the Y's four core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. Teen Leader’s Club will kick-off virtually this year on Monday, November 16 at 4:30 p.m. Meetings will generally take place Mondays from 4:30-5:30 p.m. safely online. 

“Teen Leader's Club helps develop character and teaches responsibility to help create a supportive community environment, inclusive of all people,” said Teen and Family Program Director Liz Kryznefski. “Key areas of focus include leadership development, community service and special events. We are dedicated to providing our teens with a fulfilling leadership experience through YMCA Teen Leaders Club.” 

The Madison Area YMCA is also pleased to announce that we are now offering in-person and virtual tutoring for both English and Spanish-speaking teen students. Tutors are available to help with homework, projects and test preparation from English, Languages, Science, Social Studies and more. No fee tutoring is available by registration weekdays from 3-7 p.m.
