(Madison, NJ) April 9, 2021 - The Madison Area YMCA invites you to participate in our 10-week Spring Session beginning on Monday, April 12 and our 8-week Summer Session beginning on Monday, June 28 with programs for all ages offered 6 days a week.

With clinics, workshops, intensives and programs for preschoolers through teenagers across Fitness, Gymnastics, Performing Arts, Sports and Y Ninja Gym, there is something for everyone! YMCA programs help keep children's minds and bodies active and build confidence and a positive attitude. Children can explore new interests. Having choices and taking responsibility engages children and allows them to learn and enjoy something new or something they are already enjoying. Browse our offerings online with your children; you may be surprised at the classes they are interested in!

Are your children looking for something custom-tailored to their interests and skill-level? Check out our pod offerings including coach and instructor-led Fitness, Gymnastics, School of Performing Arts (SOPA) and Sports pods. “While maintaining physical distance requirements, our custom pods are the perfect opportunity to extend skill development within a "safe circle”. We’ll create a weekly gathering for you and your pod to enjoy Y programming in a fun and safe environment,” said Associate Gymnastics and Y Ninja Gym Director Gus Ibranyi.

In addition to our spring and summer session classes, join us in our School of Performing Arts intensives for intermediate to advanced dancers, ages 10 and older. Our Contemporary Ballet class offers the chance to continue practicing technique, while adding flair with modern choreography. In this intensive, your dancer will become more confident in their techniques as they learn to incorporate and maintain their ballet skills while performing pieces. Release your inner dancer in our Street Hip-Hop intensive, as we form a “dance tribe” including competitions. Learn Broadway choreography while incorporating jazz and entertainment-based dance and technical background in our Musical Theater and Jazz intensive.

“Our Spring and Summer Sessions schedule includes a variety of enriching program opportunities to meet the varying needs of our community,” said Senior Program Director Kim Buccheri. “We are ready to help you and your child take health and wellness activities to a new level of fun and fitness.” Visit www.madisonareaymca.org/2021 for more information. Let the Y lead the way to a healthier, active and brighter future!
