Caption: The Madison Area YMCA is excited to host the inaugural Pickleball Summer Slam Tournament on Sunday, July 31, 2022! 

(Madison, NJ) – July 15, 2022 – The Madison Area YMCA announces that online registration for the inaugural Pickleball Summer Slam Tournament occurring on Sunday, July 31, 2022 is now open! Both Madison Area YMCA members and non-members can register for the tournament.  

The event on Sunday, July 31 runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Madison Area YMCA’s full-sized gymnasium, with 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. reserved for intermediate/advanced players aged 50 years and older and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. reserved for both beginners of all ages and intermediate/advanced placers aged 30 to 49 years. The tournament is co-ed and partners, male or female, are selected at random. In addition, the tournament is played in a round robin format with three games guaranteed for each player.  

The tournament fee is $25 per person for members and $35 per person for non-members and includes light refreshments and a prize for the winning teams.
