March 25, 2024 (Madison, NJ)- Project Community Pride of the Madison Area YMCA is honored to receive the Friends to Education Award from the Madison Education Association on Monday, March 25, 2024, at a reception at Madison High School. Project Community Pride Director Christine McIntyre, LCSW, Clinician Victoria Bukey, LCSW, Clinician Kristin Perconte, LPC, and Madison Area YMCA Development Director Melissa McGurrin accepted the award.

"When you are working with school-aged children, you really have to meet them where they are," said School Social Worker Mike Shugrue, "For decades Project Community Pride has met our students where they are and have helped these students immensely. Project Community Pride's flexibility, professionalism, and clinical knowledge of their staff make them an amazing asset to the Madison schools."
