The Madison Area YMCA’s 22nd Annual Charity Golf Classic and Camp for One, Camp for All Dinner Reception: June 10

(Madison, NJ) March 20, 2019 – Do you love to play golf? Especially if it’s for a good cause? Dust off your clubs and sign up for the Madison Area YMCA’s 22nd Annual Charity Golf Classic and Camp for One, Camp for All dinner reception on Monday, June 10, 2019, at the Morris County Golf Club located at 36 Punch Bowl Road in Morristown. CitiGroup Global Markets is the Charity Golf Classic’s presenting sponsor.

The community is invited to support the Charity Golf Classic that helps make summer camp for all a reality. Become a sponsor, donate auction items or book Camp for One, Camp for All dinner reservations. Individual players, foursomes and groups are welcome. Golfing and non-golfing sponsorships are available and may be combined.

At last year’s Madison Area YMCA Annual Charity Golf Classic, the winning foursome: Jack Mongey from Morristown; Scott Harris from Morris Plains; Luke Haralampoudis; from Morristown; and James Mongey from Morristown. 

Non-golfers are welcome to support a great cause! Gather some friends for a table at the Camp for One, Camp for All dinner reception which will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and include cocktails, buffet dinner, live and silent auctions, 50/50 (books of 5 tickets are $40), prizes, raffles and the award ceremony. Dinner reservations are available for $100 per person; tables of ten for $900. 

Opportunities for those who are unable to attend the golf outing or reception but would like to make a donation may sponsor $300 “camper”ships that cover the cost of one camp week for a child who otherwise would not be able to participate.

Generous event donations from last year’s golf outing fulfilled 100% of the need to provide weeks of Y summer camp for those who otherwise would be unable to afford it. Donations also provided financial assistance to local area children and families for YMCA membership, programs and child care. The generosity and commitment of many made it the most successful golf outing in the event’s 21-year history.
