Madison Area YMCA Fall 2019 Open House October 1-6

(Madison, NJ) – September 20, 2019 –The Madison Area YMCA’s Family Center will host its Fall 2019 Open House Week from Tuesday, Oct. 1, through Sunday, Oct. 6. Visit the Y for free and bring your friends, family and neighbors. Fall Open House Week features fun free events all week. Complimentary trial classes are available in sports, fitness, enrichment, dance, youth programs and more. 

Join the Y during Open House Week and your initiation fee will be waived. Join in person or online. Enter the coupon code “BuildMore19” online at checkout. Ask about Financial Assistance at the Welcome Center. Already a member? Share this with your friends and family and bring them for free. Refer a friend and receive a $20 credit toward your next membership month.

TUESDAY, OCTOBER 1

  • “Talk to a NASM Certified Trainer” | 8AM-1PM (Fitness Center)
  • BODYPUMPTM (Strengthens and tones your entire body) | 12 -12:30PM (Rec Room)
  • CXWORXTM (Revolutionary way to train your core) | 12:30-1PM (Rec Room)
  • Lacrosse 1 trial class for ages 5-8yrs | 4:45-5:30PM (Basketball Gym). Preregistration is required.
  • Lecture: "Childhood Nutrition -- Setting Healthy Eating Habits For Life" | 6-8PM (F.M. Kirby Children's Center, 54 East Street, Madison). Preregister here or contact Katie Koontz; 973-377-4945.

WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 2

  • “Talk to a NASM Certified Trainer” | 8AM-1PM (Fitness Center)
  • Pre-Ballet trial class for ages 3-4 yrs | 10:30-11AM (Children’s Studio). Preregistration is required.
  • Pilates MOTR (Combines the comfort of a foam roller with the challenge of three weight level resistances) | 1-2PM (Studio)

THURSDAY, OCTOBER 3

  • “Talk to a NASM Certified Trainer” | 8AM-1PM (Fitness Center)
  • TRX Demo (Suspension training using body weight resistance) | 9:15-10:15AM (Studio)
  • Mini Hip Hop trial class for ages 4-5 | 3-3:30PM (Children’s Studio). Preregistration is required.
  • School Age: Bake Boss Drop-in Class for ages 7-11yrs | 4-5PM (Craft Room). Preregistration is required.

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 4

  • Pilates Reformer 10-11AM (Mind/Body Studio) (Firstcome, first served; space is limited)
  • Open Teen Center for Teens, 3-6PM (Teen Center)
  • Join us as we kick off Teen Scene this fall with pizza and soda included in entry fee! (Register online). 7-10PM (Teen Center) Program includes a nominal fee.
  • Preschool: Fairytale Cooking Drop-in Class for ages 3-5 yrs, 4-4:45PM (Craft Room). Preregistration is required.  

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 5

  • Parent/Child Sports Class: Fun & Games; Ages 2-3yrs 9:30-10:15AM. Preregistration is required.
  • Join us at Bottle Hill Day in downtown Madison 10AM-5PM.

OCTOBER 1-6

  • Visit the Y for free!
  • Member Appreciation Raffle.
  • Refer-a-Friend: $20 credit toward next membership month.
  • Swim Raffle: Attend Open Swim and receive one (1) raffle ticket per family. Schedule available online and at the Welcome Center. Two (2) winners receive a FREE 10-week group swim lesson (late fall or winter). Lifeguards will hand out raffle tickets after open swim.

All guests 18 years of age+ must present a state or government-issued ID.
